Local boy injured in Lafayette road truck accident
George Mace Jr., 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Mace of Elwyn road, suffered injuries yesterday when a truck driven by Fran M. Houston of Revere, Mass. overturned after swerving to avoid a horse drawn wagon. The boy, pinned beneath the truck, was freed by highway workers and a derrick and taken to Portsmouth Hospital unconscious but later showing improvement. Driver not held.
