Children’s Day festivities brighten Portsmouth crowd
Thousands attended the 15th annual Children’s Day in Portsmouth as Winnie the Pooh characters arrived by ship. Amanda Brill, 18, and friends helped balloon up downtown while volunteers and Bank of America sponsored 34 attractions. face painting and Kiwanis bicycle safety were among the most popular activities. Lexie Bakke, 6, enjoyed face painting and a pottery wheel experience at Voice of Clay Pottery.
