News of Agaiean capture spreads as authorities report mass surrenders rising. General Cariles, outlawed for atrocities, sends an emissary to General Bates to demand surrender unconditionally and trial for his crimes.

Ricaatono Va March 30 the main street front of the Jefferson hotel erected by Louis Ginter and valued at 1000000 was destroyed by fire tonight. Flames were found in the upper part shortly before midnight and the structure soon became a roaring furnace. No lives reported lost though guests were evacuated amid the blaze. The hotel housed valuable artworks including Valentine’s marble statue of Jefferson.
Devin's Riece North Dakota March 29 Emil Sagerlin a well to do farmer eight miles northeast of here killed three children and stabbed himself to death. Sagerlin was sent to asylum ten years ago but had been allowed to return home apparently restored to sound mental condition.
