Pier II warehouse offered free for relocation near Portsmouth

The historic Pier II fishing warehouse at 10 State St. faces relocation within five miles as part of a condo project. The 12 story wooden structure, 75 by 20 feet, spans the Piscataqua River and is up for transfer to a buyer who will reuse it nearby. Owners Susan Conway Michael Kane and Mark Stebbins require payment of all costs and proof of ability to move promptly. The building may be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
