The city learned on Wednesday of the death in South Framingham Massachusetts of A Frank Graves longtime manager of the Arm strong railroad restaurant there He had previously served as temporary head of the Arm strong restaurant in this city and was well liked by railroad men and travelers He also managed the restaurant at Sanhornville and was popular among his peers and the public.

Attempt To Free Alleged Murderers Frustrated By Sheriff Collis
Sheriff Collis foiled an apparent jailyard escape Wednesday night by firing on two fleeing men from Portsmouth. One suspect fled over a rear wall, leaving behind an overcoat. the second was seen fleeing toward Penhallow and Sheafe streets. Police canvassed the area as crowds gathered, with witnesses describing a tall man in a dark coat and possible derby or soft hat, about 23 or 24 years old.
