Former Supt of Dover Hospital Dies in Madbury
Miss Grace T. Haskell of Dover, a renowned nurse who served 42 years as Superintendent of Wentworth Hospital, died at her sister’s home in Madbury. A native of Augusta, Missouri, she joined the hospital in 1906, retired in 1937, and held leadership roles at Medico-Chirogical Hospital in Philadelphia and St. Barnabas Hospital in Portland. She helped create New Hampshire’s state nurse registration system.
