Hampton District Court Plea Deals In Multiple Driving Offenses

Plea hearings and fines fill a Hampton District Court session with numerous cases. Massachusetts residents Burns, Griffith, Connor, Ricker, Stellmech, and others face penalties for speeding, unsafe tires, uninspected vehicles, and alcohol possession. Several defendants receive suspended sentences or time in the House of Correction, with fines ranging from 10 to 75 dollars.

Board Sets Two Hearings Tonight at City Hall

Planning Board scheduled two public hearings tomorrow at 7 p.m. in City Hall council chambers. One concerns preserving 38.7 acres along Lafayette Road at the Rye town line for limited industrial use. The other covers a planned development by Arthur F. Brady Jr. of 283 Pleasant St. for an auto sales storage and service business on Spaulding Turnpike near Echo Avenue.

Golden Agers Hold Banquet At Unitarian Church

The Golden Age Club held its annual banquet at the Unitarian Universalist Church with 12 members attending. Eleanor Woody played a piano selection before dinner and Angie O’Brien led a variety show with William O’Brien as master of ceremonies. Participants included Conroy, Audet, Riley, Silva, Harmon, McKenzie, Keene, Johnson, Walkman, Anthony, White, Paul, Pennington, and Craig. Buses depart June 28 at 10 a.m. for a Bear Brook State Park picnic, return by 4:30 p.m. Next meeting planned for June 36 at the church.

Oyster River Library Summer Hours At School

Oyster River Junior High School library will be open Wednesdays in July and August from 9 am to 3 pm. Franklin Pierce is noted as the only president to visit the Isles of Shoals.

Dr Thomas Conroy will be assisted by Mrs Muncea Clement. Parents with children entering school in September are asked to bring their children to the clinic. Usual immunizations will be available.
