E. Percy Lawrence a longtime Portsmouth tailor and former president of the Portsmouth Athletic Club died last night at Portsmouth Hospital aged 83. He had lived in the city for 60 years, was born in Boylston Massachusetts January 18 1860, and worked at William DeCourcy’s shop before taking over the business. He retired about ten years ago and was active in the club minstrel shows as end, man and interlocutor.

At 3 PM, the 40 and 8 members of Rockingham county will present a flag to Rockingham county at the courthouse. Grand Chef du Gare Passe Ralph G McCarthy will preside and Mayor Charles M. Dale will accept the flag for the city and County Commissioner Ira A. Brown for the county. The parade forms in front of the Elks home at 3:15 PM and proceeds along Pleasant Street to Congress, down Congress to Middle, to Richards Avenue, to Parrott Avenue and into the South playground for review from the baseball stands.
