Unconscious Boy Found On Coal Dock Believed Injured

A boy named Dante Commenetl of 218 Market Street was found unconscious by two boys on the old Concord Railroad coal dock this morning. Workmen summoned an ambulance to take him to hospital. Believed to have fallen from the coal pocket while climbing, with a suspected concussion of the brain.

Vesuvius Erupts Again With Lava and Ash Clouds

Naples reports Vesuvius erupting with incandescent lava stones and smoke. A column rises to several hundred feet as earthquakes shake the area. Professor Malden of the Vesuvian Observatory says the eruption may endure and worsen but will not threaten local inhabitants' safety.

Mrs Clara Bing hum of Northampton testified in the Croker will contest being heard in Dublin when she suddenly fell ill last evening. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

City Council Approves Paving Sidewalks and Bridge Repairs

At a special meeting the city council approved a 195000 appropriation to fund street paving sidewalks and other improvements. A 15 year bond at 4.5 percent will raise the money with allocations for Lower State Street Miller Avenue sewers Sagamore bridge incinerator portable school building and tide gates at North MI bridge. The plan moves Atlantic Heights pupils to New Franklin and Whipple school areas to free Haven seventh graders.

Highwaymen Rob Bank Messenger in Boston

Two highwaymen robbed Frederick MacCausland, a Manufacturers' National Bank messenger, of a payroll bag containing 3200 dollars at the Main and Carleton streets corner in Cambria, Mass on June 9. The cash was payroll for the C A Bridge Company.

More stock brokers fail in curb market shakeup

United States news reports a wave of brokerage failures including M. S. Wolfe & Co a major curb market firm with Chicago branch filing an involuntary bankruptcy petition. Three Die In Vermont Auto Collision At Crossing

In Royalton Vermont a car set to transport road workers collided with a northbound Central Vermont train at a crossing near Long Bridge Foxville. J Hillis Davis 43 and George Howe 60 were killed instantly. Clarence W Davis, the driver and road commissioner, was fatally injured and taken to Windsor Hall Sanitarium in an unconscious state.
