Boy dies in Newington car crash on Woodbury Avenue
A nine year old boy from Seabrook died when a Buick LeSabre collided with a Jeep Cherokee at the Woodbury Avenue intersection near Piscataqua Drive. The crash left the LeSabre crushed and the Jeep on its roof, with two adults presumed parents hospitalized along with the boy at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Police shut Woodbury Avenue for about five hours as State Police reconstructed the scene. the Jeep passengers reportedly walked away unharmed. The wreck occurred around 5 pm during peak commuter traffic. Attempts to reach State Police for details were not successful.
