Adrift three days in open boat near Isles of Shoals
John Murphy Wyson of Smal Point Maine and Joli Murphy were rescued off Boone Island after drifting three days in a small boat from Monday. Charles H. Becker of New Case Asherman spotted the drifting craft, towed it to Wood Island Coast Guard station, where the men received food and care before reaching Portland. They had little food and water, saved by fish and occasional sea. They will return home once repairs and recovery permit.
