Accident Roundup Claims Exeter Native in Fatal Route 107-A Crash
A 21 year old former Exeter woman Ruth M Hanscomb was killed when her car driven by her mother struck a pole and overturned on Route 107 A near South Hampton. Husband Albert R Hanscomb and Eugene Vienne of Amesbury were injured. all three were treated at Amesbury Hospital. Mrs Goldie A Burnap of Kensington, the driver, escaped injury. Also noted were two additional local accidents on Daniel Street in Portsmouth and on High Street with drivers John R Eaton and Gertrude F Howgate and another collision involving John T Harrison Jr. in Concord respectively. Survivors include Catherine A Hanscomb and James R Saltire.
