A York telephone outage disrupted service Friday night as operator Orin Pence fought a drunken intruder. An injured man, Pere sett ling, caused a partial blackout and convulsions. he was hospitalized. The night shift operator Vic served alone, delaying discovery until morning.
A Kingston judge presided as probate court examined the estate of Betgey A. Cisby of Danvers attended by attorneys Woodward Babbs and Yastinan with Judge Shule resigning as executor. The Third Company C A C set Friday evening with New Hampshire College orchestra for the annual event. Sergeant Dwyer Lamothe and Callahan promoted. Major Hoyt oversaw examinations. a buckeye game planned between officers and privates. Funeral services for John Z. Tatheriy were held at the Universalist Church in Newfields. Odd Fellows conducted the burial. Various church mission meetings and a Baylis sermon at Chelgunday were noted. William Marston Burial details and Civil War service described. Tavern services held at Dr A Johnson’s Newburyport residence.

John Dondero, two middle aged men, and two sailors are central to a Sunday evening incident in Amestuty Mas. Dondero was found dazed at Grace's drug store after a fall and possible blow to the neck base of the brain. He recalled eating lunch on Congress street, then losing sight and balance, but his money remained untouched. Dr. Johnston suspected a blow to the neck as the cause, and Dondero was escorted to the depot for transport to Ames buy where relatives were informed.
