York County hunting suspect in child disappearance

Dover reports investigators traced a suspect after the 10 year old St Charles schoolboy vanished. Explosion wrecks bulk gasoline station in Columbus

An explosion last night wrecked a Goldberg Oil bulk gasoline station in downtown Columbus injuring several people. Fire followed the blast with officials fearing others may be trapped. Two men were hospitalized while another was treated on scene as debris shattered windows and parts of nearby structures were blown apart.

Bradford Massachusetts December 17 Mrs Jennie Wiey age 30 mother of two was instantly killed when the car she drove left the road and struck a tree. Her husband Frank Wiley said she left for South Newbury to fetch a girl to care for daughters Sylvia 11 and Barbara 8. The Wileys moved here from St Johnsbury Vermont a few years ago.

Thieves Enter Newburyport High School and Church

Thieves broke into Newburyport High School and Im maculate Conception Church on Green Street Tuesday night, stealing a Bible from the school and two vigil lights plus small coin sums from the church. Police suspect the intruders entered via the church and breached the school through a rear window after climbing a fire escape. vandalism extended to the parochial school, vending machines, and several rooms.
