Big discharge from naval prison results in large release
Two hundred men were discharged from the naval prison on Sunday per a Herald report. They received dishonorable discharges and transport home or to their enlistment stations. Prisoners came from many states and the Philippines and Rome were among those sentenced by a general court martial. A separate restoration push would bring about 120 men back to duty aboard ships or stations.
