New Hampshire’s State American Legion executive committee censured Senator Charles W. Tobey for criticizing Pacific war leaders and demanded he demonstrate united allegiance to the country. Pauline Lisagor, 61, wife of Mor mis Lisagor, died Saturday in Portsmouth after 27 years there. She leaves husband, son Samuel, daughters Rose and Bessie, and grandson Jay M. Lisagor. Walter N Meloon a former resident of the city died in Gotha Florida on Sunday at age 85 He was born in Portsmouth son of Nathaniel L and Ellen Yeaton Meloon He worked at the Navy yard for years and also practiced law here He had lived in Florida since 1924 He leaves five daughters and five sons two sisters and one brother with many grandchildren and great grandchildren Burial will take place in this city.
