Eastern Star Has Election At Riverside Lodge Temple

Rivermouth Chapter No 54 Order of the Eastern Star held its annual officer elections in Mason Temple Tuesday. Reports from the secretary treasurer and trustees were read. Supper was served by Mrs. Alice Sukeforth. Elected officers include Mildred Freeman as Worthy Matron John W. Durgin as Worthy Patron Jean T. Horton as Associate Matron Charles H. Brackatt as Associate Patron Clara B. St Clair as Secretary Harriet M. Holiday as Treasurer Jeannette Gray as Conductress Alice Lukeforthy as Associate Conductress Walter C. Cole to serve three years. A Christmas party is planned for December 30 with officer installation in January.

Local pastor evangelist leads Merrimac church campaign

Rev. H. J. Wilson of the Portsmouth Advent Christian church serves as evangelist in a two weeks campaign across Merrimac Massachusetts for Baptist, Methodist and Congregationalist churches. Thomas P. Fletcher, a Worcester blind musician, conducts music. This is Wilson's third campaign since October, with previous efforts in Haverhill and Manchester.
