Concord December 5 reorganization under the old name as a New Hampshire corporation by Beckwith Manufacturing company with plants in Dover. It will manufacture felts textile fabrics and box toes for boots and shoes with capital of 1,250,000 dollars in 100 dollar shares. 30,000 shares issued immediately and 10,797 shares issued to stockholders of the old Massachusetts corporation. Officers are Hollis B. Goodwin Francis J. Sullivan and Carlton A. Newton all of Dover West Milton and Dover respectively.
The Young Republican Club announced that nearly every town in Rockingham County will be represented at the December 10 meeting at the County Court House. Representatives include Maurice Randall Hampstead State Treasurer NH Young Republicans, Charles Osgood Exeter, Philip Fox Raymond, Clarence Merrill Salem, Bart Hargan Brentwood, and Everett Judkins Epping.
John Robbins chairs Fremont Club as Willam Dawson head of the arrangement committee. Dawson says a large meeting is planned with several towns sending delegates, names to be announced later.
