RAID FLEET OF TRUCKS IN $6000 PLEISTOW THEFT

A gang of three or four men is being sought by police from Plaistow and nearby states for a $6000 robbery at Wing Motor Transportation on Main Street. The thieves broke a window to enter the garage, inspected six parked trucks, removed four 800 pound cases of upper leather from the loads, and loaded them onto the missing truck before fleeing. Leonard W. Wing reported the loss to Chief Forest C. Davis.

Washington December 5 The Garner resolution to repeal the 18th amendment failed in the House by eight votes. The roll call began around two o clock.
