Mrs Janet G Stacy of 48 Pearl Street and formerly of Manchester died this morning at Worcester Memorial hospital in Newburyport. Born October 13, 1881 in Manchester she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Muir. Survived by husband George M Stacy three daughters Mrs George Underhill Tamworth Mrs Jesse Pellering Farmington and Mrs Lester Weathers Manchester plus one brother Sandy Muir Sharon WV. A son George M Stacy Jr died last January. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Manchester past department president USWV Auxiliary Dept of NH past president Lewis Bell Relief Corps WRC and a member of William H Derwin Auxiliary USWV and the Auxiliary of Manchester Post No 744 VFW.
Work began this week on a 1,000,000 expansion to the Daniels Street plant of the New Hampshire Gas and Electric company. Crews prepare the building for a new boiler expected in February, with a generator to be installed in April. The project will raise capacity from 17,000 to 24,000 kilowatts.

Herbert Cox Jr. faces second degree murder. defense says he will plead guilty with pleas for the girls to be accessories after the fact. Judge Cobourn directs pleas as outlined. second degree verdict to be sought.
