Boy Falls From Scout Parade Float In Portsmouth
A five year old boy fell from a Boy Scout float during Portsmouth's holiday parade and was run over by the trailer. He was taken to Portsmouth hospital with unknown injuries. Police investigate the accident. no identification released. Witness James Collins said the open flatbed trailer carried a banner for Daniel Webster Council Pack 166 and lacked a railing.

Thousands crowd Congress Street for the 2006 Illuminated Holiday Parade in Market Square despite a late start.
