South Berwick Cpl Joseph Potvin Killed in Korea War
A 24 year old South Berwick corporal died in Korea after serving in Italy and the signal corps. Cpl Joseph E Potvin was killed August 12 1950 three weeks after arrival in Korea. Born January 24 1926 he was the son of Oliver and Claudia Potvin and is survived by a half sister and a half brother serving in Alaska. He enlisted from South Berwick in 1944 and worked for D Arcy company in Dover before his Army service.
