Portsmouth Man Pleads Guilty to 1938 Watch Theft
Ira E. Follansbee of Portsmouth, a non resident, pleaded guilty in Portsmouth municipal court to stealing a $65 watch from Joseph Hudson’s filling station at 322 State Street on June 17, 1938. He was bound over for Rockingham County Superior Court and jailed in default of $500 bail. Inspector Dennis J. Kelley and Patrolman Neil C. Bierce arrested him. The case was scheduled for the April 1943 session of the superior court.
