Graf Fights Through Storm Two Escape Death In Plane Crash
Aug 24 report from Lincoln describes an airplane bound for Whitefield and Boston crashing during a forced landing near town. Pilot L E White of Boston and passenger Joes Bush of Boston escaped with minor injuries, leaping from the burning mono plane which was destroyed when a gas line burst. The craft, after fog and threatening weather came on, started toward Plymouth field but failed to reach it before the crash in a field owned by Mrs C G B Henry, near Lincoln. Both men left for Whitefield by auto.

Alleged bad check artist rearrested after Cambridge case
Ethel Colson of Exeter now living in Amesbury was arrested after pleading guilty in Cambridge yesterday to passing a forged $7.52 check for a car payment. Judge Edward Conathan gave a suspended three month sentence and she was then rearrested on a warrant from Amesbury for additional bad checks. Colson, about 25, has prior charges in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is linked to incidents in Haverhill and other towns.
