OATSMOUTH The city bought its first electric two person Miles ZX40ST Work Truck to replace a 20 year old gas powered van. It runs 50 mile range at 25 mph with a rear flat bed and regenerative braking. Cost 18335 with annual maintenance about one tenth of gas van. Charging from half battery takes four hours via a 110 volt receptacle.

Grob Aerospace GmbH of Germany filed for insolvency effective August 18 2008 as delays in the SP aircraft program increased cash needs. The move follows hopes by the Pease Development Authority for a lucrative fractional airline venture at Portsmouth International Air Ports.
