Chaney Transfer Moves Navy Clerk To Washington Bureau
Ernest L. Chaney, after 23 years in the Navy Yard supply department as chief clerk, is transferred to the Navy Bureau of Engineering in Washington to serve as technical assistant. Typhoon Sinks War Ships and Vessels in Hong Kong Harbor
Hong Kong August 8 heavy loss of life believed after a typhoon struck the harbor at 9:20 this morning.
