Bomb explosions injure many at New York subway stations
In New York on August 6, two bombs exploded near the Madison Square area and at the IRT Fourth Avenue station at 28th street injuring numerous people. Morris Siegel, a 40 year old dental assistant, was arraigned on suspicion relating to the bombing. Police described a suspect as a Russian with a pamphlet on Sacco-Vanzetti. The blasts caused extensive structural damage but no train was in the stations at the moments of detonation.
