Graffiti Arrest of Somersworth Man Keith Hornberger

Portsmouth police arrested 23 year old Keith Hornberger of 9 Chabot Street on a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge after a witness described graffiti near Borthwick Avenue and Route 1 Bypass. A search of his Somersworth residence yielded spray paint and a small quantity of marijuana. Somersworth Police also filed charges based on the evidence.

Police cruiser rear-ended in four-car Portsmouth crash

A four-vehicle crash at the Portsmouth traffic circle involved Kittery Police Officer Jay Durgin whose cruiser was rear-ended while he waited in a southbound line from the Spaulding Turnpike. Durgin, canine unit, and all others were uninjured.
