Midsummer Fete at Bicycle Park Draws 1500 Attendances
The grand midsummer fete directed by Prof Charles Wooddy at the bicycle park opened Monday evening for the Cuase Home for Children. About 1500 spectators witnessed four tableaux with operatic gems, a military scene, Gypsy camp, and Moorish interiors. A large stage and lighting enhanced the show, with extensive participant lists and a floral arch scene drawing special praise.

The Conservatory orchestra will give a balcony concert at Sea Point on Thursday evening and provide dancing for a lively event at the popular resort.
