A Woodbridge Road man received a 5666.10 tax return check from H&R Block on March 18 though he had not filed with the company. Police report says the filing was completed online and the check was sent to a Utah bank, which refused to deposit it due to a name mismatch, then sent to the recipient’s physical address.
Former congressional candidate Gary Dodds was sentenced in Dover to 12 months in Strafford County House of Corrections with 20 days served and home confinement for two misdemeanors and an electronic-surveillance term. a 1 to 4 year state prison term for a felony falsifying physical evidence was suspended. A jury found him guilty after a trial in which medical experts proved he iced his feet to back claims of being lost after a 2006 crash near the Bellamy River.

The rollout was announced by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
