A blaze at the two story shed behind No 2 Monroe Place was fought by firefighters after 9 pm. The shed fire was confined with damage to the shed and smoke and water damage to the main house. Owners Edward Hasty and occupants W A Morang and George Reeds live there. Cahoon insured for 500. others uninsured.

Yesterday morning a statement said the New York naval reserves will take advantage of a national offer to cruise on the Prairie this year.
