Municipal Court Adopts Half Hour Signal System

In the municipal court before Judge Gould BarorpAy-Dennis J O'Brien faced a search and seizure case with a $100 fine and costs and 60 days in jail. Policemen Wills Pull report the day patrols will use a new system, each man pulling from a signal box every half hour to improve police station communication. Seven patrolmen are on duty most of the day, with calls spaced about five minutes. The station will stay in reach, enabling officers to be contacted every half hour, Marshal Swett says the system distributes calls more evenly and is an improvement over the prior method.

New Orthodoxy Sermons Challenge Old Faith Changes
