Storm damages homes and vehicles in eastern New Mexico
The Gonzales family described a Tuesday night storm that dumped baseball sized hail across eastern New Mexico. Their Dora residence suffered shattered windshields and dents while roofing shingles were badly damaged. Neighbors reported bullet like holes and widespread roof and window damage.

Tornado and large hail hit Roosevelt County New Mexico
National Weather Service reports a brief tornado near Floyd and near Dora with winds 65 to 85 mph. Dora endured softball sized hail, Melrose and Floyd saw golf to baseball sized hail. Rain totals included Clovis 0.7 inches and Portales 0.03 inches. No injuries reported.
