At Eastern New Mexico University's Campus Union Ballroom 118 girls ages 17 18 formed cities and counties held elections and simulated governing New Mexico as part of the 65th Girls State led by director Alisha Jones. The program aims to boost confidence leadership and civic interest among rising seniors.
