A community meeting is set for 7 30 pm at Seadrift Elementary School cafeteria to discuss education topics including campus use teacher recruiting brochure printing and distribution registration adult basic education and interagency coordination. The program helps adults earn equivalency diplomas through the Texas Education Agency and Community Education with 27 still pursuing tests. Five who passed have gone to college and others use certificates for GED resumes. Jan 6 at 6 pm in room WW1 at Calhoun High. Open to Texans 17 or older who left school at least a year and are residents or armed forces stationed in Texas. A fee applies.
