Two Hurt In Fall At Mission Water Tower
A 20 year old Mission man in stable condition at Citizens Memorial Hospital Victoria after a noon fall from a city water tower while being lowered on a motorized lift. Charlies Warlow initially at Champ Traylor Memorial Hospital then transferred to Victoria hospital. Pablo Reyna 23 of Harlingen in satisfactory condition at Port Lavaca Hospital. Claude Bradley says lift end broke loose and the men fell to the ground while being lowered.

Four Port O Connor homes vandalized with trio arrested
A 17 year old former Port O Connor resident and two juveniles were arrested Thursday in Calhoun County for burglary and criminal mischief tied to vandalism of four Port O Connor houses. Justice of the Peace O R Carter set bond at 50000. One juvenile remained jailed, another was placed with a guardian. The suspects reportedly entered the David Cummings property.
