A single engine plane slammed into Memorial Stadium in Baltimore minutes after the Colts 40 14 loss to the Steelers. Pilot Donald Kroner 42 and three police officers were injured. Two accidents Saturday sent several Port Lavacans to Champ Traylor Memorial Hospital where they were treated and released. Romulo Gonzales, 61, of 504 S. Colorado, drove south at 8:45 p.m. his pickup hit a parked vehicle in the 400 block of south Guadalupe, knocking the other pickup into a house at 411 South Guadalupe. Grigsby’s parked vehicle in the 400 block of north Bendi vides collided with a 1960 vehicle driven by Ernest Herrera. Herrera and Reginald Grigsby’s vehicle occupants Henry Flores were treated and released from the hospital.

County approves insurance plan and budget actions
The county commission accepted Blue Cross Blue Shield for hospital coverage for 76 officials and employees under a two year contract starting Feb 1, 1977, at about 43 050 dollars to the county and 10 492 dollars to employees annually.
