Dr A W Kelton president of the Calhoun County Independent School District board announced a resignation at a late board meeting. The board refused to accept and Kelton then withdrew the resignation after learning no written notice was provided. Kelton, elected to a second term last April, is active on the Texas Association of School Boards executive committee.
