Port Mansfield Wins Federal Harbor Deepening Approval
The U S Army Corps of Engineers in Washington D C rejected protests from the Port Tsahet San Henite Navigation District and the Brownsville Navigation District against Port Mansfield harbor project. The board adopted a recommendation to maintain and deepen the harbor and a 12 foot channel to the Gulf, as relayed by Congressman Joe M Kilgore to Mansfield port director Charles J Johnson.

Two More Wildcat Drills Near Cameron County Line
