It called for a large investigative staff, penalties for underwriting and claims abuses, and media disclosure of case facts to help the public compare insurers. Nursing Class Signup Opens in Brownsville
Pre registration for Texas Southmost College Vocational Nursing program has begun for the class starting August 31. The one year course runs 31 hours weekly at Mercy Hospital during clinicals and 21 hours in preclinical study, with classes 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday for men and women ages 18 to 55 who are high school graduates or hold a GED.

The Lieutenant Thomas Barlow Chapter NSDAR held a Flag Day luncheon June 12 at Harlingen Country Club. Mrs. Charles E.
