Outdoors for Fun Brings Mobile Deer Stand to Light
Francis Knapp of Brownsville unveils a four wheel drive Blazer mounted mobile high rise deer stand engineered by Larry Kyral and operable from a top deck. It features two swivel seats for deer stalking and two front seats for quail, with a brush guarded platform and full vehicle controls above ground. In earlier hunt near Eagle Pass 14 bucks were spotted, but no shots fired as hunters awaited larger trophies. Francis hunts in the Davis mountains and reports nine Blacktails two whitetails and three Moufton sheep from a recent trip, while cold fronts boost deer movement and bird hunting continues as the second duck and goose season opens ending January 20.
