Farley Named Manager of Nueces County Water District
Don Roy Farley begins work today as manager of the Nueces County Water Control and Improvement District under a three year contract approved May 25 by the board. The board may fill his vacant seat upon resignation until the next general election in January 1973, when three directors will be elected to the five member board. Remaining directors are Carl Castell, Andy Dallas, Pete Peterson, and Tex Ward.

Old nautical charts go on sale nationwide
National Ocean Survey offers about 10 500 charts dating from 1852 to the 1940s for 1 each until July 1 when the price rises to 3 50. Charts are sold first come first served through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department with requests sent to Rockville Maryland and specify coastal areas of interest and year.
