Edwin Leach, a 1966 Cornell High School graduate, completed the Northwest Institute of Medical Laboratory Technique course in Minneapolis on December 19 and earned his registry from the International Society of Clinical Laboratory Technologists. He works as a medical technologist at St. Marys Hospital in Streator. He is son of Dusst Co Leach Jr of Pontiac Route 3.

Graymont Co operative Association reported assets of 1,289,151 at its 64th stockholders meeting held Saturday in the Pontiac High School auditorium attended by 500. Vernell Drager said this was the first year assets exceeded one million. 1967 net profit was 53,523 on 2,398,658 in sales. A 350,000 bushel elevator was built and grain handling expanded. Board elected: Richard Hoerner Dale Bateman Cecil Richardson Martin Duffy James Carroll Mevin Otto Burdell Roeschley.
