Pinewood Derby Set for Wenona Saturday

Vermilion Valley District hosts its third annual Pinewood Derby with over 70 boys from 30 packs. Weighing begins at 12 01 p m and racing starts at 1 15 p m at Venona Grade School. Mr and Mrs Eugene Herzog of Fairbury announce the engagement of their daughter Beth Herzog to Scott Rolf of Fairbury son of Mr and Mrs Leland Rolf also of Fairbury Beth is a 1969 Fairbury High School and 1973 Illinois State University graduate who teaches math at Pontiac High School Scott works as a construction worker in Fairbury and attends Illinois State University part time He is a Fairbury High School graduate The couple plans a August 21 wedding.
