John H. Ripsch 76 Dies at Danville Veterans Hospital
John H. Ripsch, 76, of 517 W. Howard Sr., died at 5:45 p.m. Friday at Danville Veterans Hospital. Funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Behrendt Funeral Home with Rev. Francis Ryan officiating. burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. He married Josephine Rosenberger in 1920 and had two sons, Eugene and James, plus siblings and grandchildren. He was a WWI veteran, farmer, and owner of Royal Cleaners, and belonged to the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Pontiac Sportsman's Club.
