Showdown Looms as Harden Faces Xenophon Jones Rustlers
Tom Harding of the LJ ranch has captured some of Xenophon Jones rustlers. Two will be tried. the third is sent back to report the arrest. Stella Harding meets Bart Wagner at the Lewis ranch. Bart asserts courage, a confrontation with Gentry ends in a boast and a warning of a coming court aimed at curbing outlaw violence. Fairbury Illinois hosts a Christmas program at the school gym directed by Wayne Bradtke. The girls chorus with Deborah Johnston and Suzanne Anderson featured solos. the mixed chorus of 65 plus voices performed carols and readings with Janene Harvey soprano solo and boys chorus Noel Noel. Readings by Elaine Brucker Alyce Jean Sutton Rita Lehman Shirley Newnam. The combined choirs of 122 voices closed with Silent Night and Russian Carol. Piano accompanists Mary Rigsby Barbara Wascher Nancy Householder Karen Huette Cheryl Vansickle. Organists Evette Ziegenhorn Barbara Wascher.
