Giacomin Named Store Manager at Paris Spurgeons
Vincent Giacomin, assistant manager at Spurgeon's Pontiac store since January, is promoted to manager of the Paris store set to take over December 27. A 1971 UW Whitewater business graduate, he began with Spurgeons February 1, 1972 as assistant at Winona Minnesota, later transferring to Pontiac under Tom Bloyd and Howard Powell.

Christmas Cantata and Open House At Saunemin United Methodist
The Saunemin United Methodist Church plans a 10 30 a m cantata God With Us by the junior and senior choirs during worship. An open house at the parsonage runs from 2 to 5 p m Sunday. The church school Christmas program is at 7 p m with a candle lighting to follow. A Saturday 9 a m practice precedes the Sunday events. Ronald Lighty from Greenville D C has arrived to spend the holidays with his brother Wendell and family. Several local residents visit at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Flanagan and pre Christmas dinner hosts are named with others attending.
