A farm in Pi Township located four miles west of the Livingston County Nursing Home was sold at public sale Friday to John W. Albrecht Flanagan for $87.1 The farm formerly owned by Elsie M. Blue was sold by her heirs for $871 an acre. Carl Ronnow was the auctioneer and Ortman Johnson and Taylor were attorneys for the sellers.

First Baptist Circles Meet for Christmas Service Projects
Dorcas Mary and Ruth Circles of the First Baptist Church met recently. Dorcas Circle hosted at the church with Miss Clara Johnson and Mrs. Ida Smith. Mary Circle gathered at 735 Locust St with 17 attendees, led by Jan Staley. Circle members rolled bandages for White Cross and planned magazine subscriptions and donations for an Alaska missionary. Three centerpieces were made for the Tuberculosis Sanatorium and patients will receive cookies during a Wednesday caroling visit. Poole Circle met at Tillie Croft’s home with ten calls recorded and continued rolling bandages as the month’s project.
