Ten men were jailed after weekend arrests across Fairbury and nearby towns. Michael E. Lopella, 26, of St. Louis, jailed on disorderly conduct and reckless driving charges, posted bond and the case continued to Jan. 12. Willie Banks, 25, of Chicago, fined and jailed three days on contempt for no operator’s license. Hermilio Martinez, 17, of Fairbury, cited for illegal liquor possession and curfew, fined $125. Ruebin Reyna, 18, Jose Salasor, 19, Jose Granados, 18, Aaron Rangel, 36, and Jose Lara, 38, all Fairbury, charged with liquor possession. Rangel also for permitting an unauthorized driver and Lara for no license. London A. Bell, 23, of Washington, D.C., bond posted on speeding and no license. James D. Hack, 19, of Forrest, arrested for reckless driving.
