The Past Noble Grands Christmas party was set for 7:30 tonight at Eugenia Hansbroughs 822 N Chicago St with a gift exchange. The next lodge meeting is 7:30 p.m. Dec 18. Lillian James and Ruth Durham led social hour.

The First United Methodist Church circles Hope Patience Courage Fidelity Faith and others held their December gatherings with dinners, devotions, and programs by local students and members. Plans were announced for a December 13 salad luncheon, with 25 members and 5 guests at Patience, 17 members 6 guests at Hope, 31 at Courage, and 18 at Fidelity, plus 14 with 1 guest at Faith. A total of 403 sick calls were reported across all circles.
